Misty Moncur was born in Salt Lake City and raised
along the Wasatch Front where she was blessed to grow up with a
bunch of brilliant and talented brothers and sisters and two loyal
and tolerant best friends. She credits her mother for her interest
in writing and her father for her interest in the scriptures. Misty
has a couple of great kids and a really nice husband.
Owing to a childhood desire to be Indiana Jones, she stud-
ied Anthropology along with English at Weber State University,
where she published several poems in the university's literature
magazine, She enjoys learning and fosters an interest in
archaeology, history, music, poetry, and classic literature. Among
other dignified endeavors, Misty laughs at her own jokes.
